He has been appointed as arbitrator in ICC, ICAC, MAC, and other proceedings. Noteworthy cases include representing a major state company of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a dispute involving renewables technologies and equipment supply, a case heard under ICC rules with Swiss law in Geneva. Other highlights of his legal career include representing a Russian shipowner in a dispute with a German shipper (ICAC, Russian law, Moscow), co-representing the Republic of Armenia in a historic USD 326 million investment arbitration over significant road and rail infrastructure projects (ICSID, Armenian law, Frankfurt) and representing an Armenian drilling company in an equipment supply dispute with a Swedish engineering holding (SCC, Swedish law, Stockholm).
