Discussion on IT Disputes Resolution was Held in the the Ministry of High-Tech Industry
On March 28, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia hosted a joint meeting and discussion organized together with the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA) for companies and professionals in the high-tech sector. The discussion addressed the specific features of the application of arbitration and mediation in the field of high technologies, as well as the procedure for examining disputes related to this sector at the Center.
The meeting provided participants with a clear understanding of how technology companies can make use of arbitration to resolve their disputes as quickly, efficiently, and fairly as possible. Hayk Yengibaryan, Head of the Programmes Department of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of holding such a meeting. He noted that it would allow companies in the sector to become more familiar with AMCA’s activities and programmes, as well as with more effective dispute resolution tools and procedures. The discussion featured presentations on the topic “The Application of Arbitration and Mediation in the IT Sector” by Lilit Petrosyan, Director of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia, Norayr Baghdasaryan, Lawyer at the Center, and Aram Khachatryan, President of the Arbitrators Association of Armenia.
