AMCA Representative Participated in ADR Event Organized by ADB in Tokyo
Lilit Petrosyan, Acting Director of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA), participated as a speaker in the “Policy Dialogue on Alternative Dispute Resolution: Disseminating International Mediation in the Asia-Pacific Region,” held in Tokyo, Japan, at the invitation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
During the panel discussion entitled “How International ADR Could Be a Future Game Changer? The Importance of International ADR in the Real World and the Current Global Landscape,” Ms. Petrosyan presented AMCA’s caseload, current strategic targets, and the advantages of mediation, highlighting the growing role of alternative dispute resolution in international investment, trade, and commercial disputes. The panel also featured representatives from KCAB INTL, CIETAC, JCAA, SIAC, TIAC, SIDRA, and AMCA.
The Armenian delegation also included Deputy Minister of Justice Tigran Dadunts, Davit Gharibyan, Director of the Center for Legislative Development Foundation, and Senior Legal Expert Maria Petrosyan. The two-day event was co-organized by the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), ADB’s Law and Policy Reform Program, UNCITRAL, and the Ministry of Justice of Japan, bringing together leading international experts to discuss the future of alternative dispute resolution.
