International Settlement Agreement Reached at AMCA Approved by the Court

2026-03-01

At the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA), the international (cross-border) settlement agreement reached as a result of a mediation process initiated on the basis of the parties’ joint application has once again been approved by the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of the City of Yerevan. In the dispute between citizens of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Republic of Germany, the online mediation process was fully administered in three languages—Armenian, English, and German—which served as an important precondition for the effective and balanced conduct of the process.

Armenian court has once again approved a settlement agreement concluded as a result of an international mediation conducted by AMCA. AMCA continues to support the development of international mediation in Armenia and the region by strengthening confidence in the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms operating in Armenia and by fostering a favorable environment for international parties.
