International mediation day was celebrated by AMCA

International Mediation Day was marked on January 21, providing another opportunity to emphasize the role of mediation in the effective and constructive resolution of disputes. Mediation is an important tool that makes it possible not only to resolve existing disputes, but also to prevent disagreements before they arise. It contributes to business development, the improvement of the investment environment, and the reduction of business risks.

During the event held on the occasion, remarks were delivered by Tatevik Matinyan, Director of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia, Tigran Dadunts, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Arsen Mkrtchyan, Judge of the Court of Cassation of the Republic of Armenia. The Center’s mediation rules and policy were also presented during the event. The meeting was attended by licensed mediators, representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, judges, legal professionals, and lawyers.
