MoU between AMCA and Arbitration Center of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce (ACIC)

A meeting was held at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia with representatives of the Arbitration Center of the Iran Chamber of Commerce.

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the specific features of their centers’ activities, potential areas of cooperation, the importance of developing international arbitration, as well as prospects for implementing joint programs.

 

AMCA Director Tatevik Matinyan and Deputy Director Lilit Petrosyan presented the Center’s implemented projects and upcoming initiatives.At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aiming to give their cooperation a more institutional and long-term character.

 

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties agreed to exchange information on seminars and training sessions held at their respective institutions, arbitrator lists, as well as academic publications. They also undertook to jointly organize events related to alternative dispute resolution.

 

The parties further agreed to provide each other, when necessary, with premises for the organization of hearings. This cooperation marks an important step toward strengthening engagement with regional centers and promoting the exchange of expertise.
