Three-Day Mediation Training at AMCA

The training was held on November 26–28 at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA), bringing together professionals and students from various fields. Over the course of three days, participants explored the essence and fundamental principles of mediation, the role of the mediator and the procedure for becoming a mediator, the specific features of mandatory mediation, the procedure for drafting and obtaining court approval of a settlement agreement, as well as other issues related to the field.

The speakers were Director of AMCA Lilit Petrosyan, AMCA's lawyer Norayr Baghdasaryan, Senior lawyer of the "Center for Legislation Development" foundation Maria Petrosyan, mediators Natalya Adamyan and Zaruhi Papoyan.

The training concluded with a mediation simulation role-play, during which participants had the opportunity to apply in practice the knowledge they had acquired.
