AMCA Hosted the Armenian Vis Moot Teams

On March 21, the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia hosted the Armenian teams participating in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot) for the purpose of holding a mock hearing. The mock hearing featured the teams of the American University of Armenia and Yerevan State University.

The Vis Moot is one of the most prestigious moot court competitions in the world in the field of international commercial arbitration and private law and has been held consecutively for 33 years, bringing together leading practitioners, distinguished professors, and students.

The Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia attaches importance to the implementation of such initiatives, viewing them as an important platform for the development of arbitration culture in Armenia, the strengthening of young lawyers’ professional capacities, and the enhancement of interest in the field.
