❖ Bill Marsh is a leading international mediator, operating across the world. He has mediated full-time for over 35 years in all major areas of commercial disputes and investment treaty disputes, with parties from over 50 countries.

❖ 1991-present – International Mediator o Bill Marsh mediates full-time in a huge range of commercial and other disputes involving governments, national and international businesses, and others from over 50 countries, covering virtually every area of law and business. o He is also one of the world’s most experienced Investor-State (ISDS) mediators, and a member of the ICSID Chairman’s panel (one of only ten mediators worldwide). o In addition to his commercial mediation practice, Bill also mediates highly complex conflicts involving environmental, religious, ethnic, political and human rights issues.

❖ 1991-present - Advisory and training o Bill has also served as adviser on mediation/conflict resolution reform to many governments including Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Saudi Arabia, and bodies such as the European Union Commission, the United Nations and the World Bank. o He trains and mentors mediators from around the world, has served a Special Adviser on Reconciliation to the Archbishop of Canterbury. o He represented the UK in the UN negotiations to produce the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Mediation (1999-2002).
