Elijah Putilin is a leading independent arbitrator with broad experience in civil, common, and international law. He has served as Sole Arbitrator, Presiding Arbitrator, and Co-Arbitrator in proceedings under the rules of the ICC, SIAC, SCC, DIAC, DIFC-LCIA, AIFC IAC, TIAC, TRAC, ICAC (Russia and Uzbekistan), IAC (Kyrgyzstan), RAC, and VIAC (Vietnam).
His expertise covers disputes in energy, banking & finance, construction, technology, telecommunications, and agriculture.
In addition to his arbitral practice, Elijah is counsel at Putilin Dispute Management (PDM), where he has represented clients in hundreds of disputes before leading arbitral institutions, courts of all levels, international trade tribunals, and sports governing bodies.
Elijah is also an academic, lecturing on international arbitration at the Tashkent State University of Law and serving as an Adjunct Professor of international dispute resolution and business law at universities across Central and South-East Asia.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a current or past member of supervisory and advisory bodies of major arbitral institutions.
