Annette Magnusson is Co-Founder of Climate Change Counsel. She holds more than 25 years’ experience of arbitration and international law, including from global law firms, and prior to co-founding Climate Change Counsel, Annette was Secretary General of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) for more than ten years.

Annette is a frequent speaker on international law, disputes and climate change, and has been listed as a Thought Leader and Global Leader in Who’s Who Legal, highly recommended for her “significant experience in complex investment and commercial arbitration proceedings.” She has been described as “a thought leader and global star” by Global Arbitration Review. She is the author or editor of several publications, including Investment Arbitration and Climate Change (2023), International Arbitration in Sweden – A Practitioner’s Guide (2 ed. 2021) and Arbitrating for Peace (2017).

Annette is Co-chair of the ICCA Paris Agreement Conciliation Annex Project, and founder of The Stockholm Treaty Lab.
