Rafik Grigoryan

Overview of professional experience

🔷 Rafik is the Managing Partner of Sigma Law Group, overseeing legal services and consultations across various public and private law domains. His leadership has facilitated successful collaborations with international entities such as UNDP, EU, EC, USAID, World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank.

🔷 Currently serving as a member of the Professional Commission on Constitutional Reforms for the Government of Armenia, Rafik, appointed by the Prime Minister, actively contributes to constitutional amendments and discussions. Additionally, Rafik heads the Team of Justice Services Digitalization Program in partnership with The World Bank Group, focusing on enhancing e-justice infrastructure and accessibility.

🔷 As the Armenia Country Team Leader for the Asian Development Bank, he spearheads initiatives to strengthen judicial capacity for sustainable economic development in Asia and the Pacific. Notably, Rafik previously served as the First Deputy Minister of Justice, playing a pivotal role in coordinating the implementation of the 2019-2023 Judicial and Legal Reform Strategy. His achievements include overseeing critical legislative changes and contributing to e-justice initiatives. As a National Consultant for the Asian Development Bank, Rafik played a key role in developing the ARM Arbitration Center, and as a Legal Expert for the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) under the Council of Europe, he led a team contributing to enhanced judicial efficiency through data collection and correspondence.
