On January 29, the Arbitration and Mediation Centre of Armenia (AMCA) had the privilege of hosting the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Grigor Minasyan, and the Deputy Minister of Justice, Mr. Ara Mkrtchyan. Notable attendees also included the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AMCA, Mr. Tigran Dadunts, the Director of the “Legislation Development Center” Foundation, and his deputy, Mr. Davit Gharibyan.

During this visit, the distinguished guests, accompanied by AMCA Director Ms. Tatevik Matinyan, had a tour  AMCA and got acquainted with the organizational structure, ongoing activities, and projects underway at the Centre.

Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan underscored advancing arbitration and mediation practices in Armenia. He emphasized that the advanced arbitration and mediation rules adopted by AMCA, coupled with the support of distinguished professionals, have the potential to significantly contribute to the enhancement of legal culture in Armenia.

AMCA Director Tatevik Matinyan highlighted the pivotal role played by the Arbitration and Mediation Centre and introduced the services provided by the Centre. She also touched upon the imperative for legislative reforms in the field, emphasized collaborative efforts with the judiciary, and stressed the importance of developing alternative dispute-resolution methods as part of the broader commitment to legal excellence in Armenia.
