Having taught for many years in all corners of the Globe (now Professor Emerita of the University Paris-Panthéon-Assas), and after practicing law for twenty years at the Paris Bar, Catherine Kessedjian now concentrates on three roles: arbitrator, mediator/conciliator and dispute resolution coach. 

She is accredited by CEDR (London) and appears on the list of ICSID Conciliators (appointed by France). She also practices preventive mediation in due diligence matters for companies in the context of what the OECD calls “Responsible Business Conduct”. 

She is a member of numerous professional associations, among others, a Life Member of the American Law Institute, a Member of the Institut de droit international, a Vice-Chair of the Executive Council of the International Law Association and an Honorary President of the French Branch of the International Law Association. She was the Chair of the Organizing Committee of ADI/ILA 2023 (https://www.ilaparis2023.org/en/). 

In the pro-bono field, she is the President of the Fondation Villa Seurat pour l’Art contemporain whose mandate is to support contemporary Visual Art Artists and Dancers (http://fondationvillaseurat.org/en/the-foundation/).
