Jean-Vasken Alyanakian graduated from H.E.C. School of Management (Bachelor’s degree) in 1993. In 2019 he was certified as a mediator in the inter-company mediation field by the Parisian Mediation and Arbitration Centre (CMAP).  From 1997 to 2004 he notably worked in a leading French law firm “Bredin Prat” Law Firm (Paris) and in a leading American firm, the Law Offices of “Archibald Andersen” (Paris). 

Jean-Vasken Alyanakian founded “Alyanakian Avocats’’ in 2004.  He is the Founder and a certified Mediator at “Mediationvalue” (since 2019). Mr. Alyanakian is a professional mediator officially registered on the lists of the Court of Appeal of Paris, Versailles and Lyons, notably. He is also registered with the National Mediation Center for Lawyers (CNMA) of the French National Bars Council (CNB) and is also approved by the Paris Bar Mediation Centre (AME) and the Paris Mediation and Arbitration Centre (CMAP). 

Both as a lawyer and as a mediator, he has been referenced every year since 2012 in various law firm rankings in France, such as Legal 500 or Décideurs/Leaders League, notably in “mediation and business litigation” category, with a “high name recognition” grade. Since 2018, Jean-Vasken Alyanakian is the President of the Armenian Lawyers French Association (AFAJA) (French lawyers with Armenian roots).  Jean-Vasken Alyanakian is a member of the HEC groups for Governance Managers and Directors, Business Banking, Capital Development, and Companies (2010-2020 – Vice-president of the HEC Digital Hub). 

He is a member of the ETHIC movement, which is a French leading employer movement and from 2011 to 2021 he was the President of its Legal and Tax Commission, and member of its Experts Committee. He is a member of the ACE – Association Avocats Conseils d’Entreprise (which is a French leading corporate consulting lawyers association).
