Since September 2022, Sona has been actively contributing to “Iravunki Koghm” NGO, applying her legal expertise to advance the organization’s goals. Prior to this, from March 2019 to April 2022, she served as a lawyer for “Seff International Universal Credit Organization” LLC, where she navigated complex legal matters within a corporate framework.
As a co-founder and lawyer at “TS and Partners” LLC from May 2019 to April 2020, she played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s legal strategy and advising clients on critical legal issues. She worked as a lawyer in the “Witness” Monitoring Initiative Program at the “Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center” NGO in December 2018.
From November 2018 to March 2019, she served as a legal advisor for “Be Safe Group” LLC, providing strategic legal counsel to safeguard the company’s interests. Since 2010, she has been a member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, holding a legal practice license (No. 1044).
In her earlier career, she participated in significant initiatives, such as contributing to the “Public Oversight of the 2017 Parliamentary Elections” Program organized by the “Europe in Law Association” NGO in collaboration with the Prague Civil Society Centre. Her role as a lawyer at the State Service For Food Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia further enhanced her experience in public sector legal matters.
She has also contributed to legal education as a lecturer at the Yerevan State Agricultural College and also worked in the “Iravaban.net” legal portal and the “Informed Citizen” project.
Sona was national coordinator for the 2011 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Armenia. Additionally, she has worked closely with international organizations like USAID and OXFAM Novib on projects addressing anti-corruption reforms and public rights advocacy.
