Vanik Margaryan, lawyer of “AM” law office, mediator, member of the AMCA Board of Trustees, presented the advantages of mediation. He noted that a relaxed atmosphere is created during mediation, where the parties get the opportunity to freely express their concerns, emotions and fears. This process increases the importance of each party’s role by giving them freedom to decide the place, time and manner of the meeting. The speaker drew special attention to the fact that mediation saves time and money. The mediator’s primary task should be to focus on the parties, not just the outcome.
Lawyers addressed their questions and concerns due to the challenges of the field and received answers.
Participants will continue to get acquainted with the features of mediation and arbitration within the course.
